To empower all to receive and act on God’s love as revealed through the Word, and through gifts of prayer, praise, and fellowship.  In worship,  we  gather to give God our praise, to listen for truth and direction and to give support to one another for our responsibilities and ministries in the world.  We  seek  to  maintain a strong link to the central traditions within the Christian community.  At the same time, we remain open to contemporary  expressions that the Holy Spirit uses to invite us to rethink and renew our faith.

We have special feature services throughout the year.  Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month and on Maundy Thursday evening.   Anniversary Sunday is held in late June to celebrate the dedication of our move to new facilities and expansive property in June, 1992.

Harvest Sunday features an all-church dinner on the Sunday before Thanksgiving to dedicate our financial stewardship for the year ahead.  Our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service offers a large variety of seasonal music and remembrance that Community Church was founded on December 24, 1965.  Other Drama/Music Concerts and Pageants are performed seasonally.

Liturgical colors used throughout the year include:  Green (the growing season); White (All Saints’ Day, Christ the King Sunday, Christmas, Easter, Transfiguration Sunday and Trinity Sunday); Purple (Lent and Advent); and, Red (Pentecost and Palm Sunday).

Baptisms, Weddings and Memorial Services may be arranged through one of our pastors by calling the church office.  Our own Memorial Garden is available for cremains.
